Servo Axis Simulator USB - the next generation of Servo Simulators was developed to assist integrators in application development for projects with analog servo drives and incremental encoder feedback.
It allows motion application debugging without risking damage to the machine, virtually on the table with motion controllers, robots, PLCs, or CNCs without actual running motors and drives. Applications are virtually limitless including testing the mini hobby servos motors to the largest industrial servo motor applications, linear actuator applications, linear motors, servo presses, we use the servo simulators in our training classes to teach the basics of what a servo drive is, run servo motor tutorials, and teach the basic fundamentals of motion control troubleshooting.
It can be used for stand alone single axis applications or multiple devices can be connected together for 2 axis, 3 axis, and other multi axis configurations.
High Speed USB interface helps in parameter customization and live monitoring for multiple axis.. Simulator uses USB power from a computer - no external power supply required. Simulator can generate maximum 98,000 pulses per second (24.5KHz per each channel).. Default encoder settings are 1024 pulses per revolution that can be changed via USB interface.
