How To Use The PING Function To Make Sure Your IP Address Setting Are Correct For Communication

The PING command is one of the best tools for determining whether you can communicate with an Ethernet device or not. 

We use the PLC Tools SIM-IPE IP Explorer's PING command to show how to check if you Ethernet configuration is correct for communicating with a device or not.  The principles are the same for the PING command with a PC.
