Saving Time Setting Up Multiple New Ethernet/IP Devices With The PLC Tools SIM-IPE IP Explorer

Today we are going to show you how to save time using the PLC Tools SIM-IPE to assign IP addresses to multiple devices.

A great feature of the Ethernet/IP protocol is it allows you to not only assign an IP address using BOOTP/DHCP but also allows you to set its configuration to static. We can leverage this with the PLC Tools SIM-IPE to save time while configuring new Ethernet devices such as we are doing in this video with the Allen Bradley Micro820 and Powerflex 525 drive.
