The  PLC Tools SIM-SUS Servo Simulator USB was developed to assist integrators in application development for projects with analog servo drives and incremental encoder feedback.

It allows motion application debugging in the lab environment, virtually on the table, with PLC or CNC only and without actual running motors and drives. This reduces installation time from weeks to hours.

Servo simulator uses an advanced microcontroller that allows high-speed move simulation and fast response.

USB interface used to change axis parameters and monitor the axis performance. Up to 3 simulated axis can be monitored at the same time

USB Configuration and Monitoring

Configuration and Monitoring software is available for download from: www.plctools.com/downloads

You have an option to install it under “Program Files” or you can run included file without installation from any folder on your computer.

Software allows to change and save the following Simulator parameters:

  • Axis Name

  • Rotation Direction

  • Enable Signal Level (5V or 12-24V)

  • Zero Marker Period /Width

  • Engineering Unit Scale

The following parameters can be monitored via USB interface:

  • Axis Enable state and signal level

  • Analog Command level and polatirty

  • Simulated Encoder Position as a raw count

  • Simulated Encoder Position and Speed in Engineering Units
