You can assign an IP address to an Allen Bradley Compactlogix PLC using the PLC Tools SIM-IPE.

You can use the PLC Tools SIM-IPE to assign an IP address to a new Allen Bradley Compactlogix PLC or any device that has BOOTP or DHCP enabled.  It can also change a static IP address of any EtherNET/IP enabled device.
